Seemingly endlessly entrapped by our own passionate distractions, we have delayed and devoured our Selves for so long that it is difficult to remember that this is not the only way. Waking to possibility in the midst of our self-destruction...imagining a way of being that is still within our reach. Furious with our constantly chosen superficiality we fuel the liquid supernova of our compassionate transcendance, and we burn. We burn with hunger for the truth of our being, and we burn with our seeming inability to realize this. We burn with a bottomless inferno of love and inspiration, and we burn with unbearable pressure when we have forgotten to release this. The truth of our being is to be found at the center of this moment within this breath only, and nowhere else.

Returnal Ascent : 30"x40" acrylic on canvas.For me, painting has become less about each individual piece and more about the depths of quietude and purity of being that have made themselves known. Each piece, as each breath and step, intimately follows the one before and boldly leads the next. This process of progression and recession is a tension and a friction present in many forms throughout all creation. When I sit down before a canvas, I want to forget myself. I want to forget the world, and I want to forget all limitation. In this passionate desire to go beyond what is known, I am more mySelf and I am more mindful of what is happening in the world than at any other time. I am experiencing in that, which is this, moment the instantaneous resolution of all momentums. The heart bursts into flames of compassion- dissolving all untrue thoughts. The mind slowly begins to glow as the light of impassioned and pure thoughts are no longer diluted.I am the beauty of a clear and timeless truth.I am the truth hidden within clarified beauty.I am the impulse to live, love, and create, and I am everywhere.To these heights and beyond we are all bound and released towards. I joyfully weap tears of colored imagination as a record of the submission to the inexplicable experience that awaits us all at the end of resistance and suffering.
